16 months ago, PLANATOL Milker Adhesive GmbH was integrated into the PLANATOL Group of Companies in Rohrdorf. The business development of the manufacturer of adhesives on dispersion, hot melt and solvent bases has since then been a most pleasing one.

The turnover target was exceeded in 2006 by 11%. In the current business year 2007, a further growth of more than 11% is expected. PLANATOL corporate management has invested considerably in production safety and quality processes in order to ensure adhesives for tailor-made customer applications on a consistently high quality level. Close customer relations, comprehensive test phases, controlled task processing and delivery on time are further success factors. The ICE Trade Fair in March in Munich was successful for PLANATOL Milker Adhesive as an exhibitor. Existing customer relations were enhanced and new interesting application projects were generated.

PLANATOL Milker Adhesive delivers pressure sensitive adhesives to a wide range of differing branches, such as the automotive, construction, aeronautics, adhesives and plastics industries. The conglutination of lower roofing tie beams, ventilation units, the self-adhesive equipping of protection foils, carpets, adhesive and sealing bands, separators for glass panes, insulation of electric cabling are but a few individual examples of the many applications in which its PSAs are applied. The customised adhesives programme is completed by the products from another PLANATOL subsidiary, BIOLINK in Geretsried, which manufactures highly functional solvent-free adhesive tapes and films from 100% acrylate adhesives. The BIOLINK adhesive tapes are more and more delivered to coating customers as a supplement to the programme in the upper application area as a private label.
